Frequently Asked Questions about NYC Harlem Bike Rental

How old must I be to rent a bicycle?

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to rent a bicycle. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or a legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver form. All children must be age one year or older to be on any bike/bike attachments. It is for the child's own safety and is a New York City law.

What should I bring?

Bring your ID and a credit card as these will be needed for security upon check-in for your rental(s).

What should I wear?

Dress in comfortable attire but not too loose, and wear closed-toe shoes. In warm weather, dress light and wear sunblock. In colder weather, be sure to wear layered clothing to ensure comfort.

What is included with my rental?

Your bike rental includes a helmet, baskets/bike bag, lock and an illustrated map.

Are baby seats available for rent?

Yes, baby seats, as well as trailers and tag-a-long bike extensions for small kids are available to rent on site for an additional fee.

Does Unlimited Biking have any weight requirements?

Unlimited Biking is not able to accommodate any riders who are 300lbs and over as this exceeds the weight limit the manufacturer has advised for the bike's build.
